Basket.

First day of term today, and certain numbers of my students were, quite understandably in retrospect, a little more chatty than usual - to grossly understate the fact. It wasn't something a slightly ill, sleep-deprived, needles-in-throat me was prepared to tolerate. Today was a day that truly made me wonder about attention spans and why they appear completely non-existent for some people, who cannot seem to just sit down and not move their mouths for even five minutes. Unbelievable.

Was feeling weak and dizzy during most of the lessons; recovered slightly during recess but fatigue was silently killing me by the end of the day. I could not concentrate on anything after that so I just went home. A shower and dinner got me feeling vaguely human and alive again, but soon after that I simply crumpled onto the sofa and let sleep take me.

Not going to get anything else done tonight. Hope tommorrow will be a better day.
