Best night's sleep in a long while... I guess it takes extreme tiredness to cure insomnia eh?

Anyway, yesterday was a busy day with activities in the morning, afternoon and night. It opened with what else than SAT, a three-hour multiple-choice ordeal which I was glad to be rid of. After a brief break home it was off to the Boon lay CC for the usual Saturday meeting. Nothing interesting happened at either of these events, and I did quite a lot of slacking in the afternoon, so I shall not bore you with the details.

The fun really started only after we finished at six and set off for the class party. With calls coming in for food requests, we headed down to the nearest supermarket to do grocery shopping, and it must have been quite a sight; three guys, one in school uniform, running about the place trying to find a roast chicken while hauling bags of potato chips and later ice cream.

Following the failure to do so, we began our epic odyssey from Boon Lay to Bukit Timah, slogging down half the East-West Line and some of the North-South to reach Newton. A bus trip followed where we nearly got lost, but was saved by both my knowledge of the area and a kind stranger who directed us to Kheam Hock Road. A short walk later we staggered through the gate to a warm welcome from everybody else and food that still tasted pretty good despite being cold.

From then on it was a great night. Almost everyone was there, past and present, and we had a fun time watching The Exorcist (although I didn't get the chance to make Zihao scream his guts out). Then it was finally time to go, as I got a lift to the MRT then dashed like a madman to catch what was probably the last bus home.

A damn good day. Allowed me to forget at least for a while.
