Saturday night again. Haven't done much all day really, just read a lot of From Hell and took care of some minor housekeeping matters here and there.

Intriguing graphic novel it is. Well-illustrated, and the writing is authentic and engaging. Although the theory postulated (postulated it is, for no one knows for sure the identity of Jack the Ripper to this day) seems rather unlikely to me (somehow I do not trust great big conspiracy theories; it reeks of "The CIA planned Sept 11"-ish falseness), it is an intriguing possibility nonetheless. A Crown that effectively murdered its own citizens in cold blood to preserve one of their number... doubt thrown upon England's most well-known monarch and virtual symbol of the might of the British Empire, at its height under her.

But, I won't spoil it for those of you out there who have not read it. That's all I'll say on this matter.

Also, I wonder who posts on the tag board. I have no idea as to the identity of some of those who do so.
